Naujokas excels in music, theater, and forensics at Highland. Naujokas said he was humbled to receive the $1,000 scholarship from The Friends of the Fine Arts. Laura Early said, "Josh is incredibly talented and very humble about his accomplishments. The music he composed for 'A Midsummer's Night Dream’ showcased his talent and he is a great team player. He is so multi-talented."

Josh replied, "It is exciting to be recognized with this scholarship. I never thought I'd be at this place in my life where I can be a part of theater, music, and forensics. Highland's music and theater programs are incredible, and they've given me the knowledge that I need to pursue a career in the performing arts. I have only been at Highland for one year, and I have learned so much, and I look forward to completing my studies at Highland and moving forward."

Josh is also a member of the Chamber Singers and the Royal Scots. Allen Redford had this to say about Josh, "He is an excellent music student and also excels in academics. I have high hopes for Josh and have no doubt that he will be successful."
