Community Leaders Support HCC Foundation�s Major Gift Campaign

FREEPORT� Highland Community College and the HCC Foundation have launched the Growing for tomorrow�Changing lives today campaign in support of the Ray and Betty Stamm Health Science Nursing Wing on the HCC campus. This major gift campaign is the largest of its kind ever attempted in the more than 45-year history of the college. funny christmas pictures

Spearheading the campaign is a network of leaders throughout the HCC district. Honorary chairs are Don and Janey Morse, of Freeport, IL. The co-chairs are Mr. and Mrs. James Berberet, of Freeport and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Urish, of Mount Morris, IL. Regional chairs are as follows: Robin Wilhelms Saar, Carroll County; Jenny Stoddard, Jo Daviess County; Jim and Judy Kaney, Ogle County and Todd and Glena Weegens, Stephenson County. funny pictures

�There is an urgent need to address this space shortage for such a critical program,� said HCC Foundation President and campaign co-chair Jim Berberet. �Healthcare is important for everyone in our community and nurses are the backbone of the system. We expect the community will embrace this need for the College.�

Rob Urish, Chair of the HCC Board of Trustees and campaign co-chair, acknowledges that, �the new health science nursing wing will help expand programs, provide sophisticated equipment to advance healthcare education, help develop new programs that respond to changing healthcare needs and support students towards higher education.� funny images
