The library staff is available to help you with any of your instruction and research needs. Never hesitate to contact the library for assistance with finding resources, paper or online. Many resources are available to assist you and your students in the pursuit of information:
Using our Discovery @ Clarence Mitchell Library search tool, you can simultaneously search across a number of library resources. See what is available at Highland and 70 other PrairieCat libraries. Request books, find articles, e-books and other library materials online.
Campus-wide access to the full-text of this week’s Chronicle of Higher Education. For off-campus access to the Chronicle, search it through our "rEsources" search site. Login with library card and pin number required for off campus users.
Films on Demand
The Films on Demand database can be accessed from within the results screen in the Discovery interface. (Login with your library barcode and pin number is required to use it from home). Just click "search" at the Discovery search box and you will find the Films on Demand search in the right hand sidebar on the results screen. There is lots of great content for your courses. Add Films on Demand to your Moodle course so students can access the video content anytime.
We encourage you to send your students to our staff librarians (Laura or Michael) for assistance with their research papers and projects.
We are available to come to your classrooms to discuss discipline specific resources, research instruction and other aspects of Information Literacy. We are available for library tours and demonstrations of library resources.
