ABOUT EBOOKS

Anyone may read Ebooks on the Highland campus at a computer utilizing an internet browser.  Students and Highland staff may use Ebooks from off campus.  Login with your library card and pin numbers will be required. 

If you would like to download books to read offline on a portable device you will need to create an account with My Ebscohost and an account with Adobe Digital Editions.

Instructions for downloading Ebooks (via Ebsco Ebooks):

  iPad (Direct over wireless, without using a computer)

  iPad/iPod/iPhone (With computer and iTunes)  

  Android (with computer)

Sony eReader Touch edition

All Ebook readers supporting the Adobe ebook DRM

EBSCOhost eBooks are compatible with the following mobile apps:

• Bluefire Reader apps for iOS

• Aldiko app for Android devices

• Txtr app for iPhone and Android devices

• All apps supporting the Adobe eBook DRM

EBSCOhost eBooks are compatible with all devices and apps supporting Adobe eBook DRM, a standard used by most popular eBook providers. A complete list of Adobe eBook DRM compatible devices and apps is available here.
