Aid Important Dates
January
1, 2008 - Students may begin filling out the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2007-2008.
Fall
2008 Semester
August
4, 2008 - Book vouchers available at the bookstore for
financial aid recipients for fall session. Eligible
students may charge books and supplies against their Pell grant,
Partners for Employment grant, Stafford loan, and/or scholarships.
August
18, 2008- Fall session begins
August
29, 2008- Last day to drop, no record/refund for fall session.
September
5, 2008 - Enrollment hours for Pell awards are frozen.
Enrollment in subsequent credit hours after this date will not increase
Pell award.
September
10, 2008 - Scholarship/state aid applied to student accounts.
September
28, 2008 - Scholarship ceremony - scholarship checks distributed
to students in attendance.
September
29, 2008 - Scholarship/state aid refund checks mailed to
students.
October
10, 2008- Mid-term. Last day for eligible financial
aid recipients to charge at the bookstore for fall session.
October
16, 2008 - Federal aid applied to student accounts.
October
27, 2008- 60% point of fall semester - federal financial
aid refund checks mailed to students.
November
25, 2008 - Last day to request fall only loan.
December
12, 2008 - Fall session ends
Spring
2009 Semester
December
