• Small business development and customized training are just a part of the business services offered by our Business Institute.
• Equipped conference center is available for rental to the public.
• A comprehensive program of leadership training.
• Free adult education classes for GED and ESL students in 6 locations throughout the district.
• Our HCC West satellite center is located on Route 20 in Elizabeth, and we offer classes in several other convenient locations.
• Our Retired and Senior Volunteer Program has provided 73,000 hours of service in 70 non-profit agencies throughout the four-county district.
• Upward Bound serves 65 high school students from Freeport, Le-Win, Eastland, Pearl City, and Savanna. The free program provides tutoring, teambuilding, academic guidance and instruction, ACT test prep, college selection and application preparation, and summer work-study.
• Columbia College at Highland Community College is fully accredited by the North Central Association and approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education.
