The Certified Manager Program prepares managers to meet challenges related to technology, globalization, workplace diversity, and more.   Course content blends the traditional management skills of planning, leading, organizing, and controlling with a strong focus on interpersonal skills.  This program will sharpen your management skills and prepare you to take the CM assessment exams that lead to the Certified Manager Certification.

The program consists of three Management Skills segments:
Management Skills I:   Foundations of Management

The Program includes:

Three study guides with integrated case examples, application-based exercises, and review questions.

ICPM'
s Online Learning Center featuring chapter reviews, interactive practice quizzes, PowerPoint slides, and other study aids.

Three preparatory courses offered by Highland Community College Business Institute.

Certification is not required. Those who apply to the Institute of Certified Professional Managers and successfully complete the CM exams will become a Certified Manager (CM), a prestigious credential that recognizes competency and professionalism of managers in all fields.

Highland offers these courses as seven -3 hour sessions held from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The optional exam will be held one week after the completion of each course. The courses also earn one elective credit toward a Highland associate degree program.

If you are becoming certified, this series also requires ICPM fees in addition to the course cost. A one-time application fee ($75) will be assessed, plus a $100.00 ICPM processing fee for each exam taken.
