Last
year 141 adult students received their GED through Highland’s
adult education program. Over 800 students participated in
adult education programming and almost 200 of those students
were enrolled in beginning, intermediate, or advanced English-as-a-Second-Language
classes.

A computerized program helps students learn, practice and apply

Participants will:
· Become familiar with Windows operating system
· Learn to identify parts of the desktop
· Learn to open and close applications
· Search and surf the Internet
· Learn basic formatting commands
· Gain proficiency in keyboard and mouse dexterity

GED. Our position is that the GED is your first big leap toward
a College degree, a better job or advancement in your current workplace.
Our free Plus services are geared toward adult students seeking
