2011 - 2012 GED® Test Dates 

Test Procedures for residents of Stephenson,

Jo Daviess and Carroll Counties

1. All testing will be at the Regional Office of Education, 500 N. Rush Street, Stockton, IL or at Highland Community College, 2998 West Pearl City Road, Freeport, IL. (Please note the room number on the schedule.)

2. Applicants must call the Regional Office of Education in advance to schedule an appointment. 815.947.3810.

3. You will need a government issued photo ID to enter the testing room. The ID must contain your name, address, date of birth and signature to be acceptable. High school ID's, work ID's and college ID's are not valid forms of ID.

4. Arrive 15 minutes prior to the starting time.

Test sessions 1, 2, and 3 will begin promptly.

5. Test 3 will be a self-paced session.

You may take one, two or three tests, provided you have enough time for the final test. Test session end times will be indicated at the time of testing.

6. If you fail to show up for your scheduled tests OR cancel a test session later than 2 working days prior to the test session, you will be charged a nominal sitting fee. The sitting fee will need to be paid prior to scheduling or attending any future test sessions.
